Ceremony of Peace

Yoga is Peace in Action” ~ Shiva Rea

Breathe, Move, and Breakthrough as a Yogi for Peace.

Gather in solidarity with hundreds for an elevated yoga experience in sacred space with deep resonance and soulful intention. Inspired by International Day of Peace and the Fall Equinox, this ceremony will take you on a transformative journey through the pathways of Kundalini Yoga, Nai’a Breathwork, Embodied Prayer, Movement, Cacao, Crystals, Mantras, and Sound Medicine.

Join us for a magical sensorial experience to activate the power of intention, remember the way of the ancients, return to the earth, and awaken our heart consciousness as a collective to allow peace to lead the way.

The ceremony begins with an invocation of peace from Father John of Église du Gesù and special PEACE PIPE CEREMONY with Algonquin Spiritual Chief Dominique (T8aminik) Rankin + Grandmother Marie-Josée Tardif founders of Kina8at-Ensemble.

We then tune-in together with Kundalini Glow Yoga and crystal meditations guided by Kimiko Fujimoto of School of Ritual along with the ethereal voice and music of Eliza Moore.

Followed by a grounding prayer, we will enter a cacao ceremony and Mexhica Dance to spread the medicine through our veins and activate our heart drum with Jhennevièv Heartt and Nandi of NAI’A LIFE : Yoga Breathwork Empowerment Adventure.

We will then dive into a short Nai’a breath journey supported by carefully curated music including solfeggio frequencies, binaural beats and live performance to dissolve fear and guilt and surrender into a deeper sense of connectedness allowing us to integrate the cacao on all levels of consciousness. This will assist the brain to slow down to the deeper rhythms normally only accessible to those very experienced in meditation or trance work. When the brain rhythms start to slow, our awareness shifts and we become more open to perceiving life in a different way. Many experience enhanced creativity, inspiration, self-reflection, self-healing and deep relaxation with the support of the sound medicine.

We will close the ceremony with a chanting circle to seal the vibration of the journey into our cellular memory. This unique experience is a beautiful way to attune to the vibration of peace, love and bring compassion to what needs our attention.

The ceremony is set in one of Montreal’s most inspiring churches, Église du Gesù which has long been a creative haven for artists and musicians, with open doors to all faiths and backgrounds.

Cacao is a sacred heart opening medicine that is as powerful as it is delicious. Used for millennia in Mayan ceremonies, this nourishing elixir also known as “food of the gods” is full of antioxidants promoting blood flow and paving the way to self-love & compassion. We call upon the medicine of cacao to bring us back into heart-centeredness when we have strayed away from peaceful connections with the earth and all of its life-forms. Cacao, when used in ceremonies also opens us to the mystical worlds of universal wisdom. You will return home feeling renewed and refreshed.
